Mangaluru: Bondel Laughter Club helps to laugh away tensions of mental health students

Mangaluru, Jun 5: The 20-year-old Bondel Laughter Club conducted a two one-hour session for a total of 100 2nd year BSc Students of Laxmi Memorial College of Nursing at Johnlyn Cottage, Bondel Junction on June 3 and 5.

John B Monteiro, with founder and promoter of Bondel Laughter Club, and senior members of the Laughter Club, retired Prof Khalid Ansari and Gulf-retired Bonavnture D’Souza guiding the students and faculty members.

Earlier, on April 29, John Monteiro and Prof Khalid Ansari had been invited to conduct a laughter session for the faculty at the college premises, AJ Towers, Balmatta. The sessions were coordinated by Sriranjani, lecturer, department of mental health, under the guidance of the principal, Dr Larissa Martha Sams.
