Mangaluru: Mulki police register four cases of matka

Mangaluru, Jun 4: Following the complaint from callers on a phone-in programme held at the police commissioner's office on June 3, the Mulki police have registered four cases related to matka in the town.

The police seized Rs 420 from the accused one Krishna, Rs 650 from Sukesh, Rs 450 from Avinash and Rs 440 from Ganesh. Cases were registered against the accused.

The police have informed that they have booked 18 such cases in the last 3 days and arrested 29 people for involving in such illegal activities.

The police have requested the general public to complaint regarding any illegal activity.
