Bantwal, Jun 3: Veteran congress party leader B Janardhan Poojary congratulated chief minister Siddaramaiah and deputy chief minister D K Shivakumar for having implemented the five guarantees as promised during the elections.

Speaking to media at his residence at B C Road, Bastipadpu, he wished that the party may provide corruption free governance.

Poojary tried to speak to the chief minister over the phone. However, as the chief minister was preoccupied with the meeting of officers, his private assistant received the phone and assured him that they will revert after ten minutes.

He later telephoned deputy chief minister D K Shivakumar. He wished that Lord Gokarnatheshwara may protect him and the almighty may bless him to rule the state well. Poojary assured that he will visit D K Shivakumar when he visits Mangaluru next time.

KPCC leaders Taranath Kallige and Karunaker Shetty were present.
