Mangaluru: Towing vehicle hits pedestrian killing him on spot

Mangaluru, Jun 3: An elderly person who was crossing the road died as he was hit by a towing vehicle on NH 66 near Kallapu Thokkottu on Friday June 2.

The deceased person’s identity is not yet known. No ID cards of any sort were found in his clothes. He is around 70 years of age.

His kith and kin are requested to contact Mangaluru south traffic police station.
