Mangaluru: New academic year begins at St Agnes High School, Bendore

Media Release

Mangaluru, May 31: The new scholastic year began on May 31. After the fun-filled summer break, the students entered the school with much vigour. The radiantly decorated entrance with words of welcome thrilled the students.

The much-awaited day began with a symbolic prayer service, wherein the students offered holy books, playthings, school crest, and world map to God to seek his blessings as they embarked on the new academic year.

Headmistress Sr Gloria AC briefed the students about the rules of the school and also encouraged them to take part in the plethora of activities awaiting them in the coming months. The school guides distributed stationery items to their schoolmates which were carried home as a sweet reminiscence.

They even relished nutritious lunches offered under the mid–day meal scheme. The students went home with the abundant blessings of the almighty God, the graces of patroness St Agnes and the buoyant confidence of facing all the challenges for growth in the year ahead.
