Mangaluru: Mayyaddi reappointed as president of Hayatul Islam Badriya Juma Masjid Moodushedde

Mangaluru, May 28: The annual general body meeting for the fiscal year 2022-23 of Hayatul Islam Badriya Juma Masjid and Madrasa, Edurupadavu, Moodushedde, was held under the presidency of Mayyaddi, the president of the masjid, and Mohammed Mukri, the honorary president.

The meeting commenced with a Dua prayer led by Khateeb of the mosque, Safwan Irfani Mundole. Mohammed Arif, the joint secretary, presented the yearly report, while Ahmed Bawa presented the annual accounts.

Upon the request of the mosque Jamaatis, Mayyaddi was reappointed as the president for a second term. The following members were elected for the 2023-24 fiscal year: Mayyaddi as president, Iqbal as vice president, Ahmed Bawa as secretary, Mohammed Arif as joint secretary, Mansoor as treasurer, and Suliaman, Sajuddin, Siraj Monu, Razak Mandara, Mohammed Iqbal, C H Shakir, Saifuddin, and Sheikh Monu as members.

Former mosque president Hajee Mohammed Hanif, S Aliabba, Mohammed Sharif, and senior Hajee Hanif Molavai were also present at the meeting.
