Udupi: BJP district office bearers meeting held

Udupi, May 27: “Udupi district BJP has obtained a leading position in the Vidhan Sabha elections. In view of the landslide victory, meetings of introspection should be held at every mandala and 1,111 booths in the district and we should start working immediately for the mammoth victory in the upcoming Lok Sabha, zilla panchayat and taluk panchayat elections”, said BJP Udupi district president Kuilady Suresh Nayak. He was speaking after presiding over a meeting of the BJP district office bearers held at BJP Udupi district office.

“The Congress has won elections by means of guarantee cards. We will be protesting on the streets if the guarantees are not implemented,” he said.

“A meeting of gram mandalas will be held at Byndoor at 4 pm on May 30, at Kundapur at 4 pm on June 2, at 10.30 am on June 3 at Kaup, at 4 pm in Karkala and 5.30 pm at Udupi,” he said.

District vice president Ravi Ameen, Bykadi Suprasad Shetty, Kishore Kumar Kundapur, Prakash Shetty Padebettu, Geethanjali M Suvarna, district chief secretary Kutyar Navin Shetty, district office bearers, district morcha and mandala presidents and chief secretaries and conveners of district units were present.

District chief secretary Manohar S Kalmady welcomed and compered the programme. District spokesperson K Raghavendra Kini rendered a vote of thanks.
