Billava Sangha Kuwait conducts Mangalurean food fest 'Bale Unka Tinka'

Abbasiya, May 24: Another feather was added in the Billava Sangha Kuwait's (BSK) cap as it delivers yet another houseful event, the Mangaluru food Fest 'Bale Unka Tinka' on April 28 at Central School, Abbasiya.

The fest was inaugurated by BSK president, Sushma Manoj, advisors, Raghu Poojary and Krishna Poojary, Food Fest coordinator, Govind Belchada and members in the presence of all Tulunadu natives. Govind Belchada while welcoming the guests spoke of the importance and the love for the traditional Mangalorean Food.

The menu of the event attracted large number of people who were served with zest and enthusiasm. The first time venture of BSK was lauded by all attendees and Mangalorean food lovers who relished the food inspite of waiting in a long queue to get their favourite food on the plate. The menu for the fest included Veg and non-veg main course, snacks, desserts and drinks which were prepared by BSK members and well wishers.

The event was sponsored and supported by Salmiya Clinic. The event photography was ably done by Uday and Calwin and hosted by Rajesh Kunder. The large utensils and chafing dishes were generously given by Mughal Tandoori Restaurant.

BSK management thanked the sponsor, supporters, excellent cooks, committee members and friends who worked hard at the food counters and kitchen as they provided selfless service.
