New Delhi, Jul 14: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has expressed shock over the three blasts in Mumbai on Wednesday July 13.

"Our prayers are with the people affected. It is important for us Indians to stand strong and tell the perpetrators of terrorism that they cannot shake us. We believe that justice will be done. We pray for the victims and their families," said Aishwarya.

Ash was in the capital to accept the honour of the Order of Arts and Letters from the French government with husband Abhishek Bachchan. However, the ceremony got postponed after news broke about the three blasts in Mumbai.

Aishwarya and her family requested the French ambassador to postpone the award ceremony following news of the blasts.

The honour was conferred to the actress in 2008, but she couldn't accept it then too due to her father’s illness.
