Udupi, May 23: Miscreants vandalised a banner put up by followers near Padukere bridge to wish the newly elected chief minister and the deputy chief minister of Karnataka state.

The followers of the chief minister and the deputy chief minister at Padukere said in anguish, “The Congress government had provided a school at Padukere, road, drinking water, electricity, a break wall to the sea, Malpe port, subsidy, bridge, ration shop etc.

"The terrorism of dictatorship of tearing the banners, violence against fellow citizens and restricting the freedom of others should stop,” they said.
