Udupi, May 22: Leslie Cornelio has been elected as president of Catholic Sabha Udupi deanery for the year 2023-24.

Dr Gerald Pinto, ex-president central committee was the electoral officer and Louis Dsouza, president Kallianpur deanery was the reviewer for conducting electoral proceedings.

The new committee of office bearers includes Fr Charles Menezes, parish priest Mother of Sorrows Church (spiritual director), Hilda Barnes Udyavar (vice president), Laveen Pereira Udupi (immediate past president), Alwyn Andrade Udyavar (designated president) among those elected.

The other office bearers includes - Terence Periera Udyavar (secretary), Flavia Mathias Kalmady Joint secretary), Oliver D’souza Perampalli (treasurer), Sanjay Andrade Kalmady (joint treasurer), Valerian Machado Kuntalnagar (political convener), Raphael D'souza Perampally (minority wing convener), Stella Benedict Manipal (women empowerment convener), Kiran Lewis Katpady (Amch Sandesh representative), and Anil Dsouza Moodubelle (internal auditor).
