CLC Mangalore diocese AGM held, office bearers elected

Mangaluru, May 22: The annual general meeting of Mangalore diocese Christian Life Community (CLC) was held on Sunday May 21 at Fathima Retreat House, Jeppu.

The meeting commenced with prayer led by the Derebail unit. Liston Dsouza, the president welcomed the gathering. Adriel Quadras presented the annual report for 2020-2023. Rolvin D'Silva, the treasurer presented the financial report. Various units of CLC such as Bajal, Derebail senior and junior, Permannur, Puttur, Ranipura and Valencia presented their annual reports during the meeting.

The newly appointed spiritual director Fr Anil D'mello SJ was cordially welcomed and introduced to the gathering. In his address, Fr Anil stressed that as a member of CLC, each one must reflect true Christian values and should abide by them and need to set a good example for others to see and learn from.

An evaluation session of the activities was conducted, during which members were allowed to express their thoughts and suggestions. Elections for the post office bearers were conducted by Fr Anil D'Mello.

Liston D'Souza was elected as the president, Ullas D'Costa as vice-president, Anvisha D'Souza as secretary and Sunil Rolvin D'Silva as treasurer.

Fr Anil appreciated and thanked the outgoing office bearers for their invaluable service and congratulated new office bearers as they embarked upon their new responsibilities.

Sunil Rolvin D'Silva expressed his gratitude. Dolphy Saldanha compered the programme. The programme concluded with a fellowship meal.
