Udupi: Senior citizen goes missing, complaint filed

Udupi, May 19: An elderly man suffering from mental illness has gone missing. A complaint in this regard is filed his wife in Manipal police station.

Dinakar Shetty (73), husband of Geetha D Shetty (73), residing at flat number 301, third floor, Nirman Shelter apartment, Vidyaratnanagar, Shivalli village of Manipal, is the person who is missing.

Dinakar is suffering from mental illness for the past two years and is treated by doctors of Baliga hospital. On May 14 around 4.30 pm Dinakar left house saying that he is going to SAnthoor near Mudarangadi. But neither had he reached Santhoor nor he returned to his house.

A missing case is filed in Manipal police station.
