Mangaluru: Congress veteran leader Kodijal Ibrahim thanks party for electing Siddaramaiah as CM

Mangaluru, May 18: “Congress high command has elected Siddarmaiah as the chief minister of Karnataka. We thank the party for electing him,” said Congress leader Kodijal Ibrahim.

“Congress party has already announced five promises. The chief minister and the deputy chief minister designates have huge responsibility to fulfil them on assuming the post. Congress had never backtracked from their assurances. We will do the same in the future.”

“Siddaramaiah has ruled like Devaraj Urs. There is no dearth for misunderstandings among youths of the district. Internal squabbles have increased in BJP,” he said.

“The decision taken by Congress high command is appropriate as this is the last election of Siddaramaiah. We will announce candidates for Lok Sabha elections soon. We will be capture more than 28 seats in the elections,” he said.

“Regarding the BJP supremacy in Vidhana Sabha elections in the district, Congress party has bagged two seats in the district. Negative publicity has caused the defeat,” he said.
