Bantwal, May 17: Mangaluru MLA U T Khader called on former union minister B Janardhana Poojary at the latter's residence on Wednesday and enquired about his health while also taking his blessings.

“The government that was against Ambedkar has gone. I am willing to shoulder any responsibility that will be entrusted to me. I have no objections. I am bound by the decision of the high command,” Khader said.

“The assurances given in the guarantee card will be implemented soon after the the chief minister is chosen. All those who are eligible will receive the benefits,” he said.
