New Delhi, Jul 12: A girl along with her minor lover eloped after the boy had stolen Rs 25 lac from his parents. However, the couple was traced by the police after the girl’s father lodged a complaint.

The girl’s father in his complaint said that his daughter was kidnapped by the minor boy who was from the same neighborhood.

The police, on investigation came upon a third person’s involvement in the case. The third person is believed to have helped the couple to plan a get away. The police believe that the boy had intended to kill the couple for their money.

The couple along with the third boy was traced in Yamuna Nagar in Haryana.

The minor-boy’s family had tried to discipline the boy once they became aware of the theft which, the police assume may have forced the boy to take the major step.

However, on questioning, the girl confessed that she had planned the get away as both their families had imposed restrictions on them.

The stolen money has been deposited in the court.
