Kasargod: Raju John D'Souza Maniampare elected zonal president of Catholic Sabha

Kasargod, May 7: Raju John D'Souza Maniampare has been elected as the new president of the Kasaragod zone of Catholic Sabha, an organisation of the Catholic Church.

Raju John is a renowned Tulu Kannada stage actor, activist, and presenter, with a strong background in Konkani literature.



 
Previously, he served as the president of the Maniampare unit and vice-president of the zonal committee. The zonal level elections took place in Kumble, and the process was conducted by Lancy D'Cunha and Santhosh Saldanha from the central committee.
 
The newly elected team includes Yesuprasad Varkadi and Jossi Bela as vice- presidents, among others. Wilfred Manohar Bela had served as the immediate past president.
