Bantwal, May 4: Congress candidate Ramanath Rai said that the BJP will not find success in winning through leftist ways. He was speaking at the election campaign meetings at Punjalkatte and Pilatabettu on Thursday May 4.

Rai further said, “The BJP’s development in the past five years is zero. They do not have matter to speak in front of people. So this time also they are trying to win through false propaganda. However, this time the voters will make Congress victorious by huge margin.

“I have led many temple renovation committees of Dakshina Kannada district. I have also provided flat poles to many temples. Still the BJP is spreading false claims that I am against Hindus,” he said.

Lawyer Ashwini Kumar Rai said, “During the tenure of Ramanath Rai, many facilities have reached poor and downtrodden people of the society. More than 20000 people have got title deeds. Now during BJP rule, public knows the kind of scam that has taken place during the distribution of government land.”

Kavita Sanil, Rajshekhar Kotian, Chandraprakash Shetty, Pius Rodrigues, Padmashekhar Jain, Janardhan Chendtimar, Abbas Ali and Balaji Rao were present.
