Mangaluru, May 3: “The '40%' state government has kept the reputation of the state on auction. The assets of the country are going to capitalists. Therefore, all should participate in voting,” said AICC chief secretary Tariq Anwar.

He was speaking in the public meeting at Kuthar junction by Munnoor zone Congress committee. 22 workers from BJP and 12 workers from SDPI joined Congress party on the occasion.

Former Kerala chief minister Oommen Chandy’s son Uday Chandy, U T Khader, Ivan D’Souza, Ashraf K C Road and Dinesh Rai spoke on the occasion.

DCC spokesperson Farook Ullal, Dinesh Rai, Alwyn D’Souza, Abhishek Ullal, Suresh Bhatnagar, R K C Azeez, Munnoor gram panchayat president Wilfred D’Souza, block Congress president Sadashiva Ullal, Vidhan Parishat member Ivan D’Souza, Ishwar Ullal, Bhasker Kuthar, Wilma, Munnoor gram panchayat members Nausheer, Siraj, Rehna Banu, Pushpa, Naveen D’Souza, Rita, Siddik Intek, Raghu Shetty and Hameed were present.

Mustafa Munnoor gave a keynote address. Mustafa Malar compered the programme and proposed a vote of thanks.
