Mangaluru: Maina Sadananda Shetty, wife of famous hotelier A Sadananda Shetty, passes away

Mangaluru, May 3: Maina S Shetty, wife of A Sadananda Shetty, city's famous hotelier, and Head of Sridevi Vidya Group of Organizations, and the Founder Chairman of International Bunts Welfare Trust, passed away today at 8 pm in a private hospital in city after a brief illness.

She was 75 years old.

The deceased served as the secretary of Sridevi Education Trust, which established and nurtured the Sridevi Group of Institutions. With her dynamism, she worked tirelessly to develop the Quality-Kudla hotel group of city into a prestigious catering organization in the state, and served as a mentor to several reputed caterers and hoteliers in the district. She successfully managed the entire responsibility of catering for the historic World Bunt's Conference held in Bengaluru and Mangaluru, and was loved by all for her simple manners.

Mulki Kubevoor played a key role in the family friendship system of Doddamane.

She is survived by her husband, two sons, and several loving relatives.

The last viewing of the mortal remains will be held on Thursday from 10.30 am to 11.30 am at "Sadananda" Swagraha on M G cross road.
