Bantwal: BJP creating false propaganda against Ramanath Rai, claims Ashwani Kumar

Bantwal, May 2: "Congress candidate and former minister Ramanath Rai is a decent person. BJP does not have any topics to speak against him. Therefore, they are spreading false propaganda against him," said well-known advocate and KPCC leader Ashwani Kumar, while speaking at a Congress election campaign meeting in Pallamajalu.

"BJP should identify who spoiled the peace during the Congress term in Bantwal. The Congress party never indulged in violence," he said.

Congress candidate Ramanath Rai said that he was defeated last time due to false propaganda against him. He said that he has certain plans for the development of the constituency and he will fulfill them when he gets elected.

KPCC member Chadraprakash Shetty, block president Sudeep Kumar Shetty, B H Khader, Rakesh Mally, Sadashiva Bangera, Abbas Ali B, Ibrahim Kailara, B Mohan, Chandrashekar Poojary, Chittaranjan Shetty, Pravin Bantwal, P M Rahim, Preetiraj Dravid, Shabir Siddakatte, Anand Kulal, Bashir, and others were present.
