Udupi: Bajrang Dal demands withdrawal of Congress manifesto

Udupi, May 2: In a press conference held on May 2nd, Bajrang Dal regional convener Sunil K R demanded that the Congress party withdraw its manifesto, which includes a promise to ban the Bajrang Dal.

He stated that his organization was prepared for any struggle and that the Congress party was a "drowning ship."

He condemned the comparison of the Bajrang Dal to the PFI and asserted that the Bajrang Dal had been working for the country by campaigning against Love Jihad and for the protection of cows.

Bajrang Dal activists expressed their anger by setting fire to the Congress manifesto during the conference. Punith Attavar, co-convener of the Bajrang Dal section, Dinesh Mendon, secretary of the VHP, Navin, Mangaluru district convener, and Chetan, Udupi district convener of the Bajrang Dal, were present at the conference.
