Kundapur: Tanker, bike collision – Rider dies on spot

Kundapur, May 2: A bike rider was killed on the spot as his two wheeler was hit by a tanker at Siddapura Kelapete on April 30 afternoon.

The deceased is identified as Guru Prasanna Karanika (60), a resident of Devastanabettu of Ulluru-74 village. He was running a watch repair shop at Siddapura town.

Guru Prasanna was going towards home to have lunch on the afternoon of April 30 from Siddapur town to his house. As he reached Kelapete, a tanker that was driven at high speed hit his bike and killed him on the spot. 

A complaint in this regard is filed his brother Nagaraja Karanika in Shankaranarayana police station.
