Karkala, Mar 4: Live Way of the Cross devotion was held at St Lawrence Basilica Attur on April 2.
The much-awaited live Way of the Cross was held at the historical Parpale hill. The Way of the Cross devotion began with the formal welcome to all the priests and the devotees from various parishes.
Fr Alban D'Souza, the rector of St Lawrence Basilica Attur. Fr Paul Rego, the dean of karkala deanery gave his blessings. Fr Roy Lobo, assistant parish priest of the Mother of Sorrows Church Udupi conducted the Way of the Cross and gave his reflections.
Over 50 artistes from Christ the King Church, Karkala town and St Lawrence Basilica Attur while putting up a spiritually enriching act also helped the people to enter into the passion week prayerfully.
Over 1000 devotees from and outside Karkala deanery participated in the Way of the Cross devotion.
