St Agnes College holds lecture on ‘An insight to Wildlife Conservation and coexistence with Nature’

Mangaluru, Apr 1: A guest lecture on the topic ‘An insight to Wildlife Conservation and coexistence with Nature’ was organized by the Nature Club at St Agnes College, Autonomous, on April 1.

Prasamsha Bhandary, wildlife biologist and scientific officer, Pilikula Biological Park was the resource person.

Prasamsha spoke about the importance of wildlife, its conservation and the need to ecocentric way of living. She also emphasized on the aspects of poaching, illegal trading, and trafficking of the wild animals. Vivid D'Souza Nature Club co-ordinator, Prajwal Rao Youth Red Cross coordinator and Vishma D'Cunha women’s cell coordinator were present.

Chaitra introduced the resource person and Suchitra proposed the vote of thanks. A total of 170 students of Nature Club, Youth Red Cross and women’s cell attended the programme.
