Mangaluru: Srinivas Institute of Technology to host national level techno-cultural fest ENVISION-23

Mangaluru, Mar 27: A national level techno-cultural Fest ENVISION-23 will be organised by Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, Mangaluru on March 28-29. ENVISION-23 will be inaugurated by Laxmi Shetty, associate manager- Talent Acquisition Robosoft Technologies on March 28 at 10:00am. Dr CA A RaghavendraRao, honourable chancellor, Srinivas University and president, A Shama Rao Foundation will preside over the function. Dr A Srinivas Rao, honourable pro-chancellor, Srinivas University and vice president, A.Shama Rao Foundation will be the guest of honour. In this fest more than 800 participants from over 50 colleges are expected to be participating in various technical, and cultural events organised by different branches of institute.

The mega techno-cultural events will be organized on both days under different Departments and Cultural Clubs. Which includes Yakshagana, Pilinalike, Step Hopper’s, Dance Rumble, Battle of Bands,Drone Race, Line Follower Robot, Hackathon, Robo Soccer, Hack the Campus, and RC Racing.

The technical events will be organized on both days under different departments. Aeronautical and Automobile Engineering Department Association will be organising Autonautix which includes Skyhut, Pitstop, Ninja Warrior and Need for Sagacity. The Mechanical Engineering and Marine Engineering Department Association will be organising Fogo E Agua which includes Memorizing, Structure Making, and Bulls eye Battle, Shoot at Pinpong. The Electronics and Communication Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department Association will be organizing Stelite which includes Simuquest, Be the Sloth, Clash of Circuit and Dimaag Ka Bharosa. The Information Science and Engineering and Artificial Intelligence & Data Science Department Association will be organizing Bits and Bytes which includes Mind Strom, Plumber Rumble, Smarticus and Equilibro. The Computer Science and Engineering Department Association will be organizing Techverse which includes Sherlock Codes, Rahasya, Roadies and Valorant. The Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Department Association will be organizing Tanthrik which includes Kaos Kodes, Code Quest, PES, Bizquiz, Tactical Triumph and Virtual Reality. Paper presentation is kept open under all the departments.

The cultural events under the cultural club Lalitharanga is kept on March 28-29 which includes Kalakuncha (Tatoo Art, Face Painting, Mehandhi Design, Pencil Sketch, Cartoon Drawing, Water ColorPainting), Gana (Solo/Duet Singing), Stand Up Comedy, Just a Minute, Dumb Charades, Cooking without Fire and Mr/Ms. ENVISION. Chess and Armwrestling are the events under games.

Dr Shrinivasa Mayya D, the principal of the Institution, has announced that these events are open to all PG, UG, and PUC students from across the country. Team Shri Bhramari will be presenting 'Chenda Violin Fusion' on March 29 at 1:00 PM, followed by Kaushik Suvarna and Team's performance of 'Let's Nacho' at 2:00 PM. The event will conclude with a valedictory function, followed by V-Beats with DJ Toxic until 4:40 PM. The function will be coordinated by Dr Prasad P, a professor, department of chemistry, and organized by the student council president, Shelton Francis Cutinha, along with ENVISION coordinators, including N Shankar, Anusha Pradeep Naik, Richal Mohan, and Suraj Itape.
