Kundapur: Tipper mows down pedestrian crossing road

Kundapur, Mar 25: A pedestrian, who was crossing the road, was killed as a tipper hit him on NH 66 in front of Nehru Maidan of Vaderahobali village.

The deceased is identified as Kumar. Tipper was moving from Koteshwara to Tallur. The driver did not notice Kumar crossing the road and hit him. A seriously injured Kumar was admitted to Kundapur government hospital. He succumbed to injuries in a little while.

Kundapur traffic police have filed case and are investigating further.
