Bantwal, Mar 22: Lokayukta SP Simon got flared up in the public programme that was held on March 21 as a person complained that his files at the taluk office are missing.

Around 15 people submitted their appeals to Lokayukta in the programme. Victor Veigas, a resident of Karopadi village, complained that taluk office is not guiding him properly when he approaches them for his files. Every time they are sending him back saying that file is not available. Simon called manager Vishu Kumar and questioned him on the matter. Tahsildar S P Koodalagi responded and said that within 10 days the issue will be resolved. Complainant Victor Veigas said, “Even if you take two months I do not mind. But please give me the file.” SP Simon asked Victor to complain again if he does not get the files within promised period.
