Mangaluru, Mar 21 : Srinivas University Annual Sports Meet was held on March 21 at Mangala Stadium.
Chief guest Mangaluru city DCP (L&O) Anshu Kumar IPS performed the flag hoisting.
He inaugurated the event by lighting the Olympic torch. He said on the occasion that he was proud to see so many enthusiastic students participating.
The oath taking ceremony was held.
Pro-Chancellor of Srinivas University Dr Srinivas Rao presided over the programme and was happy to see the students' performance. He advised that one should use the opportunity to achieve.
Srinivas University board of governors members Vijayalakshmi R Rao and Prof A Mitra S Rao, vice chancellor Dr P S Aithal, and registrar Dr Anilkumar were present.
Srinivas University evaluation registrar Dr Srinivas Maya welcomed the gathering. Development registrar Dr Ajay Kumar delivered the vote of thanks.
