Mangaluru, Mar 19: Riyaz Farangipete, National Secretary of SDPI and SDPI candidate for Mangaluru legislative constituency, has urged the arrest and banishment from the district of those responsible for creating an unnecessary controversy over Ucchila mosque and threatening the DC.
In a tweet, Riyaz said, "Honourable Police Commissioner of Mangaluru, please arrest and banish from Dakshina Kannada Pramod Ucchila and his gang, who have created an unnecessary controversy over the Ucchila mosque land, creating animosity between two religions and threatening the DC directly."
Riyaz has also appealed to the police commissioner to protect the peace and harmony of Ucchila.
