Puttur: Students of St Philomena College bag seven ranks in UG, 13 in PG section

Puttur, Mar 13: Philomena College founded by Msgr Antony Patrao, who felt the need of higher education for the aspiring youth of the rural region with a relentless effort has been fruitful in realisation of his dream with a noble mission. It is through the success story of knowledge thirsty pupils who seek admission in this premiere institution and also through the parents and the society whose word of mouth plays a major role in educating the people around about the overall development one undergoes in this temple of learning.

The undiluted quality is the hallmark in transforming the students to achieve the life goals to accomplish their career opportunities so as to become positive contributors to the society. To continue with the tides glory, St Philomena College, Puttur rejoices with the extraordinary accomplishment of the students by bagging 20 Ranks (7 ranks in UG and 13 ranks in PG section) and one gold medal in the Mangalore University Examinations, 2021 - 22. Kripali K P (BSc) obtained TMA Pai gold medal with a score of 94.57% of marks in aggregate.
Correspondent of the college Fr Lawrence Mascarenhas, members of the management, principal of the college Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, campus director Fr Stany Pinto congratulated the students, parents and the faculty members for making the college proud once again with this coveted achievement and expressed the joy of elation on this event of fulfilment.
