Chidambaram Never Won Election, Must Quit: Jayalalithaa

New Delhi, June 14 (IANS) Accusing Home Minister P. Chidambaram of fraudulently getting elected to the Lok Sabha, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa Tuesday demanded his resignation.

"He has not won the parliamentary election. In fact he lost the election," the AIADMK leader told a news conference here. "He has played a fraud on the nation."

Jayalalithaa said the data entry operator in the Sivaganga Lok Sabha constituency in Tamil Nadu transferred votes secured by AIADMK candidate Raja Kannappan to Chidambaram's credit in the 2009 general elections.

"This is how this fraudulent victory was secured," he said. "He should resign."

The chief minister said her party candidate had filed a case in the Supreme Court challenging Chidambaram's victory. "There is no question of softening our stand. We will try to expedite the case."

She said Chidambaram's position in the cabinet was "untenable".

According to official records, Chidambaram defeated his AIADMK opponent by 3,354 votes.

    P Chidambaram is the ARCHITECT of 2g. Like his Cheating in Election, his name would also come out with A RAJA and would be seen accompany him in TIHAR. Sonia Gandhi not an Indian Citizen wanted to be Illegal PM. Manmohan became Illegal PM. Chidambaram became Illegal HM. Still how many Illegals left in UPA-2? Like DHUTRASHTRA-The Blind, BJP would ask What is happening in Delhi Govt? and PM would reply I don't know. I was never informed, I am above suspicion blah...blah...blah...

    CHIDAMBARAM IS NOT THE ONLY PERSON ENTERED LOKSABHA FRAUDULENTLY BUT ALMOST 50% OF THE POLITICIANS ARE CAPABLE OF AND ENTERED IN THE SAME MANNER.
    ONLY ALTERNATIVE IS STREAMLINE THE ELECTION COMMISSION TOP TO BOTTOM AND STRONG LAW TO PUNISH OFFENDERS.

    but pls. jaya we Indians want bright people not like u. see ur home and see ur state, tell us what is the difference.
