Mangaluru, Feb 3: The Presidency Schools, Bengaluru and Mangaluru, are a chain of schools that is a part of the prestigious Presidency Group of Institutions which was established in the year 1976. Presidency Group of Institutions (PGI), along with the university, constitutes eight schools and 2 colleges. It was a man with an impeccable vision - Dr Nissar Ahmed, chairman – Presidency Group of Institutions & Chancellor - Presidency University who by his dedication and passionate involvement in the education sector for over 45 years has won him many laurels, truly establishing his commitment to spread the light of education to each and every individual.
He commenced his journey as an educator in the year 1976 with just four students in his first class. A successful edupreneur today, his vast empire of around 1000 mentors across the schools, colleges and university, are constantly working towards the motto: “Gain More Knowledge, Reach Greater Heights” under his guidance.
February 4 – a day earmarked in the school calendar as a special day, is the day the PSMNG family will bid fond farewell to the outgoing batch of PUC II, CBSE Class X & XII students. It is the day that the students will take centre stage; a day the faculty will experience mixed feelings of pride and sadness; a day that will forever be etched in the collective consciousness of PSMNG as covering yet another milestone in this beautiful journey of togetherness. It is the most awaited moment of the year for the outgoing batch- their valedictory function.
The valedictory ceremony 2023 'Embrace the Journey' It’s your choice will be held at the Presidency campus amphitheatre at Kelarai. It is with gladness Dr. Bharath Y Shetty MLA, Mangaluru north constituency has kindly consented to be the chief guest of the evening and address the valedictorians.
Dr Kumar, IAS CEO-Zilla Panchayath, D K the and Amarnath S S Bhandari S P - excise Department, D K have also consented to be the guests of honour for the ceremony.
Shaila Saldanha, principal, Presidency School & PU College, Mangaluru on behalf of the PSMNG family will address the students and impart words of guidance to embrace future with open arms, and enthusiastically pursue life- journey of discovery.
