Mangaluru: Lourdes Central School organizes seminar on 'financial literacy, use of digital tools'

Mangaluru, Feb 2: Lourdes Central School organized a financial literacy and use of digital tools seminar for the entire staff along with other three schools on January 27.

The seminar commenced at 2:30 pm by invoking god's blessings, introduction of the resource person and a welcome address was done by Fr Robert D Souza, principal. The inauguration of the seminar was initiated by lighting lamp.

CA Nagaraj Sharma K, the resource person of the day gave an effective talk along with activities which reflected on the knowledge of usage of digital tools in financial transactions. He shared awareness on the importance of the use of digital tools in daily transactions.

It was truly an eye-opening experience to all the participants. The valuable insights helped the participants to be more productive. The power point presentation on retirement planning, term cover requirement, inflation rates over the years, mutual funds, various types of savings in the bank enlightened the minds of all the attendees.

The two-hour seminar came to an end with the vote of thanks. Overall, there was an atmosphere of learning and concern.
