Udupi: Republic Day celebrated with patriotic fervor in Silas International School

Udupi, Jan 28: 74th Republic Day was celebrated with a deep sense of patriotism by the Silas International School.

The national flag was hoisted by Sharlet Maben.

A strengthful march fast by the students was the day's attraction, followed by singing of patriotic songs.

Jacinta D'costa, principal in her message advised the students to understand the significance of the Constitution and to aim to build a strong and progressive nation. She reminded the students of the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters and reiterated the need to stand as one and work for the country.
