Mangaluru: Malabar Gold & Diamonds holds scholarship distribution event

Mangaluru, Jan 19: As a part of CSR initiative of Education & Women Empowerment programme - scholarship was distributed to deserving higher secondary and degree college girl students by Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Mangaluru. This year, they are giving away around Rs 60 lac in over all Dakshina Kannada to 650 students. Similarly, their other outlets in Karnataka will be giving away scholarships at their respective regional level too.

The chief guests were CD Jayanna (DDPU - Mangaluru), F Bonaventure Nazareth (parish priest of Our Lady of Miracles Milagres Mangaluru, Ajith Kumar Maladi- (president Bunts Aliece Nadavara Sangha Association Mangaluru), Haneef Haji (president of Hidayah Foundation Mangaluru), Abdul Rauf (corporator - Mangaluru City Corporation), and V Karunakaran (director Malabar Gold & Diamonds Mangaluru).

Sarath Chandran (Store Head Malabar Gold &Diamonds Mangaluru) , Althaf A K (asst store head Malabar Gold & Diamonds Mangaluru), Raghuram (showroom manager), Sheik Farhan( marketing manager), and Girish Rai (sales manger) were also present.
