Mangaluru: Multilingual movie ‘Kari Haida Kariyajja’ team visits Burdugoli Guligajja Kshethra

Mangaluru, Jan 14: The movie team of multilingual film ‘Kari Haida Kariajja’ about Koragajja, visited the Korgajja-Guligajja Udbava Shile Adisthala at Kallapu Burdugoli. The team included actors Bhavya and Shruthi.

Trivikrama Sapalya, producer of the Rs five crore budget movie had made a vow in the beginning of the shooting of the movie itself, according to the suggestion given by director Sudhir Raj Urwa that he will offer a male chicken to Guligajja of Burdugoli Kshethra and Kola Seve at Koragajja Kshethra of Nandigudda. Accordingly, the fowl was offered at Burdugoli Kshethra and the movie team prayed in front of the deity.

Special prayers were offered to Koragajja-Guligajja by popular lead actresses of 90s Bhavya and Shruthi. It was the birthday of actress Bhavya.

Shooting of ‘Kari Haida Kariajja’ is almost complete. The movie will be released in April or May month. The movie is made in Tulu, Kannada and Malayalam languages. The outdoor shooting took place in Bangadi, Madyanthar, Someshwara and Ullal of Dakshina Kannada district. The 800 year history of Koragajja is taken as the main story of the movie as per producer Trivikrama Sapalya.

Gauri, daughter of actress Shruthi was with the team. Later the team went to Nandigudde Koragajja Kshethra to offer Kola. Vishwanath Naik Kallapu, Chandrahasa Pandit House, Prashanth Gatti Karyangala, Purushotham Kallapu and Praveen S Kumpala were present.
