Mangaluru: Tulu film ‘Pili’ to release on Feb 10, 2023

Mangaluru, Dec 12: Tulu film ‘Pili’ produced under the banner of NNM Productions will be released on February 10.

Promising young actor Bharath Bhandary has written the story for the film for the first time and has acted as the lead in it.

Mayur R Shetty, director of Tulu film ‘My name is Annappa’ has shouldered the responsibility of direction and photography of the film. He has made a name as the assistant director, cinematographer and script writer for several Tulu and Kannada films including Ekka Saka, Pilibail Yamunakka and others. The ‘Pili’ film is based on the subject of tiger dance, one of the cultures, celebrations and beliefs of Tulunadu. The tiger dance has its own reputation and history to it. The film has shown the adverse consequences of setbacks to its reputation. It also has family entertainment, comedy, love and affection, melodious songs, stunning daring scenes and suspense that last till the end of the film providing complete entertainment to the audience.

Vijayakumar Kodialbail is seen in an important role in the film. The star cast has Swati Shetty, Trisha Shetty, Kriti Shetty, Navin D Patil, Arvind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Vismay Vinayak, Umesh Mijar, Prasanna Shetty Bailur, Sandeep Shetty Manibettu, Deepak Rai Panaje, Chetan Rai, Mani and other actors in unique roles.

Manikanth Kadri has provided music for the film. Mayur R Shetty, D B C Shekar and K K Pejavar have written lyrics for four beautiful songs. Sandesh Bejai has written the dialogues. Film director Trishul Shetty, Sandesh Bejai and others are in the directorial team. Publicity art is by Devi Rai.

The film is shot at Polali Rajarajeshwari temple and the beautiful surroundings of Mangaluru.
