Kundapur, Dec 10: Inauguration of Late Haddur Rajeeva Shetty centenay bhavan and second death anniversary of Haddur was held under the presidentship of Latha D S, president of Shankaranarayana gram panchayat.

Speaking on the occasion former governor of Rotary Jnana Vasantha Shetty said, “A person’s ideal should get life again. The stage programme was inaugurated by KMF director and former president Raviraj Hegde.

Prabhakar Shetty Kondalli, president of Karkala taluk Sahitya parishad and high school Kannada techer offered rich tribute to late Hadduru Rajeeva Shetty.

Mamatha R Shetty, wife of late Haddur Rajeev Shetty, who built centenary bhavan for the school at a cost of Rs six lac was felicitated. Family of Haddur distributed wheel chair for differently abled boy Ravikumar, scholarships for outstanding students and note books for school children.

SDMC president Santhosh Kumar, Sachidananda Vaidya, Jayakara Shetty, Shashidhar Shetty, Prabhakar Shetty and former president of Rotary Dayananda Rao were present.

Mamatha R Shetty did the introductory speech. Girija D, head teacher of the school welcomed the gathering. Assistant teacher Ananda Kulala rendered vote of thanks. Assistant teacher Santhosh compered the event.
