Margao: CM Announces Malls for Self-Help Groups

Margao, May 21: State chief minister Digambar Kamat has  said that the government proposes to set up  two malls, one each in the north and south of the state, for self-help groups under the Goa Sourcing Hub Scheme.

Kamat said that the proposed malls, once  operational, will facilitate self-help groups and artisans in the state to display and market their products.

He said that the foundation stone for the mall in South Goa will be laid by Member of Parliament Priya Dutt near the district court building, Margao, on Sunday May 22. 

The chief minister has urged the self-help groups to avail the benefit of various government schemes to become economically independent.
