Lawyers’ Day celebrated at Kundapur

Kundapur, Dec 3: “The birth anniversary of advocate and first president of India, Dr Babu Rajendra Prasad is being celebrated in the country as the Lawyers’ Day. We should follow his principles. The profession of a lawyer is noble. We have the responsibility of ensuring that people in the society do not lose their path and we provide justice to the victims,” said Kundapur additional district and sessions court judge Abdul Rahim Hussain Shaikh.

He was speaking after inaugurating Lawyers’ Day held by Kundapur bar association at Kundapur court auditorium on Saturday. Kundapur Bar association president Bannadi Somanath Hegde presided over the programme.

Senior civil judge, Kundapur, Raju N and Mangaluru Bar association president Prathwiraj K spoke.

Chief civil and JMFC judge Dhanesh Mugali, additional civil and JMFC judge Rohini D, second civil and JMFC judge Vidya A S, Bar association chief secretary J Srinath Rao, office bearers and advocates were present. Bannadi Somanath Hegde welcomed, Raghavendra Charan Navada compered the programme.
