Mangaluru: National Cadet Corps (NCC) inaugurated at St Aloysius Gonzaga School

Mangaluru, Dec 3: The first batch of NCC (National Cadet Corps) was inaugurated at St Aloysius Gonzaga School, Mangaluru, on 2 December 2022. The chief guest of the programme Col. Nitin Ramesh Bhide, Commanding Officer 18 Karnataka Battalion NCC, Mangalore while addressing the students stated that students should develop passion in whatever they do and discipline is the key factor to success.

The principal Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ in his speech briefed the aims and objectives of the NCC. He also said that the long cherished dream of the school has turned into a reality today and thanked the NCC department for their support.

The NCC uniforms were symbolically handed over and the NCC Cadets took the NCC Oath. The vice-principal Laurel D'Souza, physical education teacher and NCC Care Taker Vinod M P were present during the occasion.

Deepthi Karkada compered the programme. Arunima Tulsidas introduced the chief guest and Neha Suares delivered the vote of thanks.
