Delhi BJP attacks AAP over Tihar probe report

New Delhi, Dec 2 (IANS): After an inquiry committee set up by Delhi L-G V.K Saxena found jailed AAP minister Satyendar Jain guilty of "misusing" his official position to get special treatment in Tihar jail, the Delhi BJP yet again shared a poster on social media ridiculing the ruling party.

The poster depicts Satyendar Jain as Brand Ambassador of Tihar Tourism with a caption "Nahi milegi saza milegi malish or maza. (No punishment, only enjoyment)."

Speaking to National Spokesperson and Delhi BJP social media incharge said," Tihar inquiry has clearly shown that AAP had allowed 'Satyendar ka darbar' (hold court) and therefore, they are protecting the 'brasht' (corrupt).

"The inquiry report shows that not one but two child rapists were giving special services to Jain despite not being qualified physiotherapists. It is also said that the two were forced to serve him. It also shows how top officials of the jail are allowing Satyender Jain to hold court, allowing him to have meetings even in restricted areas that too without permission violating the norms".

He stepped in Jail as a minister so that he could abuse the position for his VVIP massage and more importantly for 'vasuli' (extortion). They have turned Tihar into a resort and are giving 'maza' (fun) instead of 'saza' (punishment), he added.

Delhi minister and AAP leader Satyendar Jain "misused" his official position and authority to enjoy special treatment inside the Tihar Jail, the report submitted claimed.

Jain also met co-accused in a money laundering case in which he was arrested, it added.
