Beltangady: Sacred Heart College holds inauguration of Commerce Association

Beltangady, Dec 1: The inauguration of activities of the Commerce Association at Sacred Heart College Madanthyar was held on November 23. Shankar B Rao, lecturer in Commerce Vani PU College and nominated president JCI Belthangady was the inaugurator.

The students invoked gods' blessing by a prayer song. The dignitaries on the dais inaugurated the activities for the new academic year by lighting the lamp. The inaugurator inspired the students with his wonderful thought provoking words. He expressed that the commerce students must be awake and involved in activities other than academics for the overall growth. He also explained about the various opportunities in the field of commerce that the commerce graduates were not thinking about.

HOD of Commerce professor Vincent D' Souza said there are no shortcuts to success, one must work hard to be a successful one. Principal Dr Joseph N M in his presidential speech urged the commerce students to go with the professional Courses and post graduation courses after graduation in order to align with the competitive world

Coordinator Emerson Crasta, president Yusuf Saheed, vice president Bhargavi U S, secretary M Melita D' Cunha and joint secretary Disha were present on the dais. President of Commerce Association Yusuf Saheed Welcomed the gathering, secretary Melita D' Cunha proposed Vote of thanks. Viyola Rego of II B Com compered the programme.
