Sanjoy Demands Probe into Khandu Chopper Crash

Itanagar, May 18 (PTI) Lok Sabha member from Arunachal Pradesh Takam Sanjoy today demanded that the Centre should initiate a probe into the April 30 Pawan Hans chopper crash in which former Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu and five others on board were killed.

"The Centre should immediately initiate an inquiry either by CBI or National Investigating Agency (NIA) into the circumstances which led to the crash," Sanjoy said.

Sanjoy said he called on UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi this morning and appraised the matter to her. He said that he also requested her to initiate an inquiry by a Central agency into the crash.

He said, he would soon meet Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jarbom Gamlin to press for the demand for ordering a high level probe into the matter.
