Udupi: Two motorists get injured in head-on collision on Karavali-Ambalawadi service road

Udupi, Oct 18: Two motorists were involved in a head-on collision on the Karavali-Ambalawadi service road resulting in injuries to both.

Piryadi Ganesh (46), son of Gopal Poojary and resident of Bachanabailu in Kodooru who was riding a motorcycle collided with a scooter driven by Rahil Anwar on Sunday evening on the NH-66.

Piryadi Ganesh who is working as a constable in Reserve Police force is the bodyguard of Yashpal Suvarna, national general secretary of backward classes morcha.

On Sunday, he started for work on his motorcycle from home towards Suvarna's house on the Karavali-Ambalawadi service road. Without giving any indication or signal it is said that Rahil Anwar who was riding a scooter got on to the service road and collided with a motorcycle driven by Piryadi Ganesh. The latter was thrown onto the road following the collision.
