Modi commends people of Mysuru, terms Dasara ‘spectacular’

Bengaluru, Oct 6: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has termed the Mysuru Dasara festival as “spectacular.’’

In a twitter message, Modi said: “I commend the people of Mysuru for preserving their culture and heritage so beautifully. I have fond memories of my Mysuru visits, the most recent one being during the 2022 Yoga Day.”

Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has replied thanking the Prime Minister and said: “Thank you Hon’ble PM-ji for your appreciation of Mysuru Dasara. The festival has a special cultural significance and has always been celebrated with traditional fervour and gaiety.”
