Bantwal, Sep 30: “Poshan is an ambitious scheme by the Centre to compensate for the scarcity of nutritious food to pregnant women and nursing mothers. The food should be provided on a daily basis,” said Bantwal MLA Rajesh Naik.
He was speaking at the concluding programme of Poshan month 2022 held at B C Road Rotary club.
Bantwal CDPO Gayatri Kambali gave an introduction. Taluk health officer Ashok Rai, Ayush department doctor Manikarnika, Rotary president Pushparaj Hegde, Rotary member Prathibha Rai, Stree Shakti block society president Sushmita Shetty and Poshan campaign district officer Babita were present.
Various competitions were held. Prizes were distributed to the winners and participants in it.
Assistant infant development project officer Sheelavati welcomed. B Bharati rendered the vote of thanks. Supervisor Savita compered the programme.
