Beltangady: One arrested over illegal cattle transportation

Beltangady, Sep 30: Police traced illegal transportation of cow and arrested one person.

Sundara Moolya is the accused arrested by police. The cops waylaid a pickup in Beltangady town in which a cow was tied in an inhumane manner. On checking, it came to light that Sundara was transporting the cow without any permit.

Both the cow and the pickup vehicle were confiscated by the police. Total value of cow and pick up is estimated at Rs 1.60 lac.
