Udupi: Chef’s Day celebrated at Trinity Central School, Perampalli

Media release:

Udupi, Sep 25: With the objective to excite the kids about the importance of healthy eating, to teach them good eating habits and to impart basic home cooking skills, ‘Chef’s Day’ was organised for the kindergarteners in Trinity Central School, Perampalli.

Kindergarten students played the role of junior master chefs, donning their chef caps and apron to exhibit their culinary skills in flameless cooking.

Yummy sandwiches, fruit salad, chocolate milk shakes and vita balls were prepared by junior master chefs.

Principal Fr Dominic Sunil Lobo and academic coordinator Fr Ravi Rajesh Serrao joined the students in celebrating the Chef’s Day.

“Let’s cook, let’s eat and let’s celebrate” was the slogan of the event. Children were educated on the importance of eating healthy food and the impact of consuming junk food. They were also given an understanding of the importance of food and why they should be thankful to the food they get to eat every day.
